Kickmates · Updated 2026-10-30
Kickmates is run by Primaroas LLC ("we"). Questions: contact@primaroas.com. This policy says what we collect when you use the Kickmates app or our website (kickmates.fit), why, and what you can do about it.
Your email address, to send you a sign-in code, your receipts and messages about your games. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we get the email (or Apple's private relay address) and the name they share with us.
Your first name and, if you give it, your last name. Other players see your first name and last initial.
When you accept the waiver, and which version.
Your games: the spots you take, pay for, cancel or wait for, and whether the host marked you present.
The town you pick. To find your town, the app asks for your phone's location; the phone turns it into a town name itself, and only that name reaches us. We never store your location.
If you ask for a spot in the first games on kickmates.fit, we keep your email, your ZIP code (in Mongolia, your city or district) and the evenings you said you can play. We use them only to invite you to games near you and to plan where and when they happen. Ask us and we delete them.
We use PostHog, a product analytics service, to see how the app is used: which screens are opened, which buttons are tapped, when the app is opened and closed, and steps such as signing in, joining or cancelling a game, or joining a waitlist. With these it records your phone and app version, your language, and a rough location that PostHog works out from your IP address.
Once you're signed in, these are tied to your account's internal ID, never to your name, email or phone. They are kept for up to a year, and when you sign out or delete your account the app forgets that ID. We use them only to improve the app, never for advertising, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
On kickmates.fit, PostHog counts page views and clicks without cookies and without your email; what you type into the form never goes to PostHog.
Card payments go through Stripe. You enter your card on Stripe's own payment sheet; we never see or store your card number. We keep what Stripe tells us: the amount, when it was paid and refunded, and Stripe's payment reference. Stripe's privacy policy covers what it does with your card details.
Convex hosts our database and server. Resend sends our emails. Stripe takes payments. PostHog measures how the app is used (above). Apple and Google handle their sign-in if you choose it. Town photos come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, fetched by our server, not by your phone.
We don't sell your data, show ads, or use advertising trackers in the app.
Your account stays until you delete it. Records of payments and refunds are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, without your name once your account is deleted. Usage records in PostHog are kept for up to a year; ask us and we'll delete yours sooner.
In the app: My games, then Delete account. Booked games are cancelled by the usual rules first. Your name, email, sign-in and waitlist places are deleted at once. If you can't open the app, email us from the address on the account and we'll do it for you.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law; we'll honour them.
The app is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email before a change that matters takes effect.
